BALE DEFINITION/SIZING
Built for high-capacity baling, Case IH LB 3 Series large square balers offer added flexibility to handle a variety of crops with ease. Precompression feeding system delivers uniform bales with equal number of flakes.

Precompression feeding system:
  • Charges the bale chamber only when the precompression chamber is full
  • Crop is compressed in a crescent-shaped precompression chamber
  • When the flake of material reaches set density level, sensor paddles are tripped
Case IH LB3 Series large square baler knotters reduce stops and increase output
Best-In-Class Knotter
Features reduced stops, increased daily output:
  • Improved knotter fan air flow means better cleaning of chaff and dust
    • Fans controlled from tractor cab using the electronic baler-control system
  • Baler holds 30 twine balls for extended time between reloads
  • Bill hook profile provides longer twine ends for tighter, stronger knots
  • Large diameter knotter brake disc
    • Smoother, quieter cycle
    • Reduced knotter shearbolt breakage and needle damage
Reliable double knotters:
  • LB333 – four knotters
  • LB433 – six knotters
  • Shaft- and gearbox-driven for long, dependable service
System registers movement of each individual twine to provide earliest possible warning of a mistie
Curved knotter shields mean:
  • Less trash buildup
  • Improved knotter cleaning
The Case IH Electronic Baler Control System that allows you to control baling functions from the tractor cab.
Electronic Baler Control System
Allows you to monitor and control baling functions from the tractor cab:
  • Automatically maintains bale density
  • Registers movement of each individual twine, providing early warning of mistie
Easy to use with fingertip control of bale density.

Monitors these baler functions:
  • Flakes per bale
  • When a completed bale drops off the roller chute
  • Knotter performance
  • Knotter fan operation
  • Field working lights operation
  • Greasing system operation and settings
  • Counts of both pre-cut and uncut bales
