Designed For Australian Conditions
Australian conditions such as extreme heat and cold, dusty and dirty air conditions and continuous high-UV exposure can take their toll on machinery components. Some of the features that bring endurance and long service life to Case IH JXU engines include:
- Viscous fan enables the machine to reach operating temperature more quickly.
- Exhaust aspirated air filter - an option for dusty conditions, in which airborne particles are directly ejected from the powercore filter into the exhaust gas stream.
- Turbocharged and intercooled JXU engines are equipped with big capacity turbocharger and an air to air intercooler to boost thermal efficiency and extract maximum power from every drop of fuel.
Power On Demand
Because JXU tractors are designed for use in a wide range of applications, JXU engines can deliver power on demand when the going gets tough.
JXU can achieve torque rise of up to 40% and up to 47% in PTO power torque rise, making more power and performance available as soil conditions get heavier or the terrain changes. Maximum torque at 1300 rpm is a massive 425 Nm on the JXU 105 and rated speed is at 2300rpm resulting in lower fuel consumption.
These new generation engines are designed to deliver the kind of power you expect from a Case IH tractor while
keeping running costs to a minimum.
