Nebraska Tractor Test Lab results indicate that Tier 4A Case IH Steiger® tractors with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology have set new industry records for fuel-efficient power.
BETTER FUEL EFFICIENCY
In recent independent tests the Steiger recorded 603 max. PTO which is the highest HP ever tested.
MORE DRAWBAR HORSEPOWER
Steiger 600 recorded 543.43 max. drawbar power with duals — the highest ever tested.
CLEANER OIL AND LESS MAINTENANCE
SCR technology provides Steiger with clean, cool air, resulting in cleaner oil and less maintenance.
Learn More About Efficient Power Steiger Tractors
Beginning with our 2011 models, and continuing into the future, Case IH will meet the 2014 Tier 4B engine emissions standards using exclusively SCR technology — the same technology that is being used to meet Tier 4A standards in high-horsepower tractors.
Case IH is already proving this in the field with producers every day. More than 10,000 Steiger®, MagnumTM and Puma® tractors powered by Case IH SCR technology are already performing in farmers' fields across North America. Cool-running and quiet, SCR is an engine exhaust after-treatment system that works outside the engine in the exhaust system. Rather than interfere with engine performance, it actually improves it. Case IH Tier 4B technology will not require regeneration of particulate filters or any Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) technology for their high horsepower equipment.
