ISOBUS Solutions

Bring greater flexibility to your work.
Case IH ISOBUS solutions suit every type of business and provides you with the flexibility you need to automate your operations. The standardized ISOBUS communication protocol enables the greater automation of machinery control to the benefit of production, the environment and the safety of the operator while simplifying management operations and data gathering.

The industry-standard communication protocol

ISOBUS is a set of communication protocols based on International Standard ISO 11783 conceived specifically for linking agricultural tractors, implements & software. This is the result of an agreement between the main manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment to solve compatibility problems, standardising communication among different implements, regardless of the manufacturer. With ISOBUS, any operator can take a Case IH tractor, plug the ISO implement into it and begin working. They don’t need to recall settings or do any additional setup because everything is loaded to the terminal immediately.

A standardised, compatible link between the tractor and the attachment, whatever the brand, controls all your ISOBUS devices using the AFS touchscreen monitor. Just plug it in – all Case IH tractors are wired up on delivery – the necessary technology is factory-fitted.

    • LB6 HD series

    Round balers - Variable chambers
    ISOBUS Class III:
    • RB455 / 465 series
  • Section Control helps lowering your input costs of farming operation in eliminating double applications of seed and fertiliser.
  • Less wastage, fewer skips and higher yields with Variable Rate Control

Variable rate technology allows prescription application of inputs. It helps you more efficiently apply nutrients to a fully integrated platform that gathers data during every phase of production, ensuring fewer trips across the field.
  • AFS Feedrate Control technology on LB XL and LB HD series

Using AFS Feedrate Control, the baler controls the tractor’s forward speed through ISOBUS Class III commands, maintaining desired capacity and bale slice thickness by using a charge sensor. The system then calculates the best speed based on the information received from the sensors.

Our Large-square balers are all ISOBUS III ready from factory, just ask your dealer for the unlock code to run with this automation system.
  • AFS Bale Command technology for RB455 and RB465 series

The RB455 and RB465 round balers can be equipped with ISOBUS Class III. Paired with a Case IH tractor featuring a CVXDrive™ continuously variable, PowerDrive powershift or ActiveDrive 8 dual-clutch transmission, this system is automazing the complete bale process without operator input.
  • Case IH is one of the founding members of the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF).

The AEF has developed a Database of Certified ISOBUS Products to help operators, dealers, and others check ISOBUS compatibility amongst equipment and components by showing exactly which ISOBUS functionalities each machine supports. The AEF ISOBUS Database can be accessed via its website (www.aef-isobus-database.org) and via a smartphone app.

You will be able to configure your tractor/implement combination and immediately see whether the selected combination is ISOBUS compatible and with which common ISOBUS functionalities it is equipped.
