Common rail diesel technology

To ensure both power and efficiency, MAXXUM Multicontroller EP tractors are equipped with a four-valve 4.5 or 6.7 litre turbocharged, intercooled, low-emission diesel engine. They supply their maximum torque at engine speeds as low as 1400rpm in draft applications and 1600rpm in PTO and transport applications when Power Management is active. The engine is designed to generate maximum power at 1800 - 2000rpm. Engine Power management of up to 26 horsepower means you have more lugging ability in tough conditions.

Management systems
Power Management is standard on all model to give you up to twenty six additional horse power during PTO operation or up to fifteen additional horse power when hauling heavy loads on the road;further enhancing their amazing power-to-weight ratio.

Constant Engine Speed Management allows the operator to program engine speed where PTO speed is imperative regardless of load, ensuring smooth operation of the implement.

CASE IH LRZ Loader

ELEVATING BUSINESS
Built specifically for their tractors, Case IH loaders offer uncompromising performance and quality. Using fine-grained, lightweight crane steel, they are manufactured to the highest specifications.Loads of flexibility. Our LRZ loader packages include their own independent remote valves so other hydraulic services remain free. Similarly, loader connection and removal is quick and easy with the all in one ‘Multi Coupler’.Loads of visibility. All Maxxum EP tractors are available with a loader visibility window in the roof, regardless of whether you order a loader or not.

At Case IH we see the LRZ loader as part of the tractor. The wiring, hoses, brackets and control systems are fully integrated into the vehicle at the design stage and not just retrofit as offered by other manufacturers. Armrest mounted joystick. Perfectly positioned, truly responsive.

The armrest with intuitive control panel and integrated Multicontroller lever puts all the tractor’s key functions in the palm of your hand, while the A-post mounted instrument panel keeps you informed on the tractor’s performance at-a-glance. Climate control is optional.

Powerful hydraulics do the business

Rugged power with precision control

The heart of the system is a high capacity pressure flow compensating, variable displacement piston pump that delivers up to 113 litres/min through a power beyond port or up to 95l/min to any single remote valve. A completely separate hydraulic pump supplys the steering system so you stay fully in control even when operating a loader.

Powerful rear hitch

A lift capacity of up to 7864kg lets you fit the heaviest of implements. The hydraulics and linkage controls are easy to use and operators working on their own will be pleased with the features provided outside the cab to assist them in connecting up equipment to the hitch and PTO.

EHC draft control

MAXXUM EP tractors feature Electronic Hitch Control to automatically adjust the height of the hitch according to the draft load. The system is set using the hitch control integrated into the right hand control panel (Intuitive Control Panel on the armrest in MAXXUM Multicontroller EP tractors). Hitch Ride Control system absorbs the bouncing of mounted implements.

Maxxum Multicontroller EP
On these models we have integrated the latest Multicontroller armrest into the seat to take the stress out of a long day in the field. All seats are fully adjustable with lumbar support and there is an option of a Low Frequency Seat with heating. The steering wheel can be tilted and adjusted telescopically so you are always sure to adopt the healthiest driving posture. Noise levels of just 71dB(A) are similar if not better than modern cars!

MAXIMISE COMFORT
The combined effect of a top quality seat, cab suspension and front axle suspension has been proven to cut vibration levels significantly and maximise driver comfort.

Maxxum Multicontroller EP models offer 2dB(A) less noise inside the cab than Maxxum EP. 3dB(A) less means half the sound pressure.
The sloping hood, “A” post-mounted exhaust, sculpted body and full length glazed doors put the working area in your field of vision. The Maxxum EP Series also features a roof window, ideal for loader work.

TURN NIGHT TO DAY WITH UP TO 10 LIGHTS
A Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting package is available as a dealer installed accessory.
