Shock-reducing cab suspension and Positive Response seat systems provide ultimate comfort and enhanced productivity.

The exclusive easy-ride cab suspension system in the Puma Series tractors signifi cantly reduces shocks and vibrations from fi eld work and transport for greater operator comfort and productivity. Unlike front-axle suspension alone, the combination of cab and seat suspension systems signifi cantly reduces vibration from the rear wheels. The result is a 25 percent reduction in shock loads to the operator.

The new-generation Tier 3 emissions-certifi ed engine powering Puma tractors features outstanding fuel economy and long-lasting durability.

Proven engine technology from the same quiet and fuel-effi cient engine family used in the highly successful MXU Series tractors reaches the next level of performance in Puma Series tractors. Leading the list of new engine features is an electronically managed 24-valve high-pressure common-rail fuel system for up to 4 percent improved fuel consumption over previous models in this kW class. The 6.75L cleanburning power plant delivers 100.7, 111.9, 123 and 134.2 PTO kW, depending on the model. An additional 18.6- to 26.6 kW Power Boost is also available during mobile PTO and transport operations.

Full powershift transmission with standard Autoshift allows top performance and efficiency with minimal effort. Enhanced clutch modu lation with adaptive transmission controller software makes for easy operation and outstanding shift quality.The new optional 19th EconoGear allows the engine to run quieter during trans port with greater fuel efficiency. Standard Autoshift adds to produc tivity with an automatic shifting feature based on load, in the fi eld and during transport.

A powerful pressure fl ow compensating (PFC) hydraulic system ensures responsive implement control.

The Puma Series PFC load-sensing hydraulic pump delivers the power and control needed for today's loaders, imple ments and remote hydraulic motors for effi ciency, reduced wear and top fuel economy. This high-capacity system delivers quick response and the fl exibility to handle several functions simultaneously without sacrifi cing performance.

The powerful Puma tractor hitch and PTO system provide versatility and the capacity to handle a range of large mounted implements for maximum lift and convenient operation. Hefty standard three-point lift capacity can be boosted with an optional high-lift option to tackle even higher-load implement challenges. The rugged, effi cient, Puma tractor PTO system features a new Auto PTO Management option to reduce operator effort and protect PTO driveline components. Operator convenience is enhanced with both in-cab PTO controls and a new fender-mounted switch.

New optional Smart Suspension MFD front-axle technology offers enhanced stability and less vibration, while keeping the front tires in contact with the ground for up to 15 percent better traction, improved steering control and operator comfort.
