John Dumont, a row-crop and livestock farm operator in Ollie, Iowa, received a great Christmas surprise this year-free use of a Case IH Farmall® DX55 utility tractor equipped with a Case IH LX118 loader.

RACINE, Wis. - John Dumont, a row-crop and livestock farm operator in Ollie, Iowa, received a great Christmas surprise this year-free use of a Case IH Farmall® DX55 utility tractor equipped with a Case IH LX118 loader.

Dumont accepted the free, 12-month, 300-hour lease as the grand prize winner of the 2006 Fall Farm Shows Sweepstakes, sponsored by CNH Capital, the financial services provider for Case IH. CNH Capital received more than 5,000 entries from visitors at four major U.S. farm shows this past fall-Farm Progress Show, Husker Harvest Days, Sunbelt Ag Expo, and the Ohio Farm Science Review. Dumont, who attended Farm Progress earlier this year, won the prize as part of a random drawing.

Jim Eversmeyer, of Keokuk County Implement, teamed up with CNH Capital Financial Services Manager Jamie Spellman to present the tractor to Dumont on Thursday, December 21. Keokuk County Implement, a Case IH dealership in nearby Sigourney, Iowa, will provide regular maintenance during Dumont's use of the tractor.

Dumont will share the tractor with his 18-year-old son, who operates a nearby crop and livestock farm. "We're happy to put this tractor to use," said Dumont, who also owns a Case IH Axial-Flow combine. "This is the second Axial-Flow combine I have owned after I fell in love with the first one. It's smooth running and has fewer moving parts."
