Following the recent announcement that the Case IH Steiger® Quadtrac® 620 was named “Machine of the Year 2014” in the XXL tractor category at Agritechnica in Germany, four more Case IH products were given national recognition for their innovation and efficiency.
Case IH officially launched the new Early Riser® 5 series planters, designed to help farmers maximize their yield potential and consistently produce in varying conditions with an expanding range of genetics and seed treatments.
Forgotten Harvest, Metro Detroit’s only food rescue organization, will be able to provide millions of meals to people who would otherwise go hungry in Southeastern Michigan thanks to major equipment donations announced today by Ram Truck brand, Case IH and New Holland Agriculture. The donated equipment, worth nearly $400,000, will enable the expansion of large-scale farming operations through Forgotten Harvest Farms, where healthy fruits and vegetables are harvested by volunteers and delivered fresh and free of charge to agencies fighting hunger in the region.
The next generation of aggressive disk rippers on the market – the Case IH Ecolo-Tiger® 875 – now offers even more durability, enhanced agronomics and more ease of use. All-new high-density Tiger points, standard Earth Metal blades and a hydraulically controlled double-edged reel help the new disk ripper handle the heaviest residue, the toughest soils and the widest range of field and weather conditions.
With the introduction of 26 new compact and utility tractors and 11 hay and forage tools over the last three years, Case IH has demonstrated its focus on meeting livestock and hay producers’ unique equipment needs. To complete the updated lineup, Case IH is introducing the first windrower with factory-installed autoguidance, redesigned draper headers, disc mower conditioners designed to speed up dry down, and a durable round baler designed to minimize losses.
Case IH is rolling out a new True-Tandem™ vertical tillage tool for use beginning in the spring 2015. “Case IH introduced the industry-leading True-Tandem 330 Turbo eight years ago. The new True-Tandem 335 VT builds on this heritage with added features designed to allow the user to take more control of their operation, as well as reduce maintenance for more uptime,” says Tim Nix, Case IH tillage marketing manager.
Case IH may be well-known for its high-horsepower tractor leadership, but it also understands the need for smaller, more nimble tractors that can go where large tractors cannot. Enter the Farmall® V tractor, designed specifically for the tighter spaces and more narrow rows of fruit and nut orchards and vineyards.
When it comes to farm equipment purchases, livestock producers think more about the ease of maintenance, while crop producers think more about the predictability of it, according to a 2014 survey of 800 livestock and crop producers across North America.
Since they were introduced in 2007, Case IH Puma® series tractors have proven to be outstandingly maneuverable, dependable tractors for livestock producers, mixed-farm enterprises and row crop farms. For 2014, Case IH introduces the exciting addition of six new models in the lineup.
Hay preservative application is easier and more precise than ever with the new 600 Series Automatic Applicator System for Case IH large square balers. The new system integrates seamlessly with the Case IH AFS Pro 700 control center for highly efficient and precise application of hay preservative, without the need for a separate monitor in the cab.
