Case IH reinforces commitment to digital farm management tools with latest agreement
07 Nov 2018
The announcement by Case IH Australia and New Zealand's parent company CNH Industrial of a new strategic digital agriculture agreement with Canadian-based company Farmers Edge reflects Case IH's global focus to give customers more access to the tools they need to improve their business' bottom line.
Case IH Australia and New Zealand said this was the same motivation behind the launch of its own cloud-based tool, ClearVU, in August of this year, with the product now available across the Case IH national dealer network.
Andrew Kissel, Product Manager Planting and Soil Management Equipment for Case IH Australia and New Zealand, said the partnership with Farmers Edge has the potential to incorporate the agronomic strengths of Farmers Edge with the current ClearVu digital platform, providing a profitable and cost-effective option for Australian customers.
'ClearVU is a product developed right here in Australia, tailored to the needs of Australian producers; it's easy to navigate, visually appealing and simple to operate. It was only launched after several years of planning, design and field-testing, with extensive feedback from farmers on what they needed from such a tool in order to maximise their business' productivity," Andrew said.

"ClearVU is designed to increase yield, reduce input costs and maximise farm profitability."
Andrew said they look forward to working with Farmers Edge to find new ways of combining their agronomic services and solutions with ClearVU's offering in order to meet the needs of the Australian farmer.
"ClearVU is also unique in this digital ag sphere in that it brings our customers and dealer network closer together, with dealerships a one-stop-shop for ClearVU customer inquiries and support, and new subscriptions. By bringing dealers and customers closer in all aspects of the business, the dealer will be able to better meet customer expectations, which is of benefit to everyone and further strengthens the Case IH network across Australia. We look forward to welcoming Farmers Edge into this network," he said.
Andrew said Case IH is focussed on helping farmers further optimise productivity and efficiency in their day-to-day operations and as Farmers Edge is underpinned by best practise agronomic technology, they are excited about the possibilities that this collaboration will bring to Australian farmers.
