In many parts of the world, finding skilled labour during peak use seasons is a constant challenge. Case IH developed the Autonomous Concept Vehicle and unveiled it in 2016 to demonstrate how it would be possible to remotely monitor and control machines directly. In the future this kind of technology will offer greater operational efficiencies for tasks such as tillage, planting, spraying and harvesting. Now, through its Autonomy and Automation Program, Case IH is researching and piloting autonomous technology in real-life scenarios.
