Case IH celebrates the 1000th Axial-Flow® 4000 Series combine manufactured in China

The 1000th Case IH Axial-Flow 4000 Series combine harvester has rolled off the production line in China.

Since 2014, the Case IH Axial-Flow combine harvesters have been designed and produced at the CNH Industrial plant in Harbin, in the Heilongjiang Province of China, where the Company's production base for the domestic market is located.

These machines are designed to suit the specific needs of Chinese farmers and offer premium comfort, high capacity and the unsurpassed grain quality consistently delivered by Axial-Flow technology, which has been fully recognised and praised by professionals in the industry.

Case IH has more than 40 years of experience in the design and manufacture of rotary combine harvesters, with the brand's first Axial-Flow combine being released in 1977 in the USA. The grain-on-grain threshing action of the Axial-Flow rotor limits grain losses through more effective separation and ensures the grain going into the tank is of the highest quality to generate maximum return.

The Case IH Axial-Flow 4000 was recently named in the Top 50 Chinese agricultural machines for 2018 with its 4099 models, and it has received the prestigious "Harvester of the Year" title in recognition for the model's outstanding design and performance. The prestigious title recognised the Axial-Flow 4099 for its advanced design and excellent performance in the field.

The Harbin plant, in north-east China, is the largest manufacturing complex of its kind in the region, occupying 400,000 square meters and employing some 350 people. It produces a state-of-the-art range of tractors, combine harvesters, headers, and other equipment for Case IH, and other CNH Industrial brands.

This year in May, the plant achieved Bronze status in the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program, proving CNH Industrial's commitment to the pursuit of world-class manufacturing excellence.
