Case IH delivers two Austoft® 4000 Series sugarcane harvesters to Kisanveer Khandala Sahakari Sakhar Udyog Ltd, Khandala-Satara

A delivery of two Case IH Austoft® 4000 Series sugarcane harvesters Double Plus took place at Kisanveer Khandala Sahakari Sakhar Udyog Ltd.in Khandala, Satara. More than 15,000 farmers from the adjoining villages participated in the event.
Kisanveer Sugarmill is a customer of Case IH since 2010. It has grown beyond recognition in over 10 years by investing in modern mechanized farming methods. Today 35 Case IH sugarcane harvesters operate in its sugarcane fields.
Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Devendra Fadnavis handed over the keys of two sugarcane harvesters to Mr. Shahuraj Bhosale and Mr. Ranjane, who will use these machines for sugarcane harvesting at Kisaanveer sugarmills. Distinguished guests included the Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation and Public Works Minister, Mr. Chandrakant Patil; the Co-Operative Minister, Mr. Subhash Deshmukh; Animal Husbandary, Dairy Development and Fisheries Development Minister, Mr. Mahadev Jankar; the Minister of Water Supply and Sanitation, Mr. Babanrao Lonikar. Senior officials from Case IH also attended the event.
Mr. Devendra Fadnavis congratulated the chairman of Kisanveer sugarmill, Mr. Madan P. Bhosale, for adopting mechanized solutions for sugarcane harvesting. He also mentioned that in Maharashtra the use of harvesters is at 2%, whereas Kisanveer Sugar Group has reached up to 25% and they plan to increase their mechanized harvesting activities by some 50%.
