Since 2018, AgroDairy has relied heavily on a range of Case IH equipment including 10 Axial-Flow® combine harvesters
President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan has visited leading agricultural company, AgroDairy LLC at its Samukh farm base, getting a first-hand view of the modern techniques being used to improve agricultural production and decrease the country’s dependence on food imports.
AgroDairy’s operations began in 2014 with a mission to increase the country’s agricultural productivity by transforming undeveloped and unproductive land to grow high-yielding, high quality crops such as wheat, corn, barley and sugar beet.
Taking advantage of a strategic partnership with the government, as well as a team of international experts, cutting edge machinery, and processes and products that meet the standards of the European Union, AgroDairy’s operations have cultivated more than 60,000 hectares of land since its inception, improving agricultural output and creating local jobs.
Despite Azerbaijan having a very different climate from many developed European countries, some of AgroDairy’s crops are producing yields almost in line with Austria and Germany—an achievement that impressed the President during his visit in late June.
Investment in improved agronomic practices, irrigation equipment and modern agricultural machinery such as tractors and combine harvesters has been essential in achieving the operation’s productivity gains.
Since 2018, AgroDairy has relied heavily on a range of Case IH equipment including 10 Axial-Flow® combine harvesters, five Quadtrac® and three Rowtrac™ tractors, 17 Magnum® tractors, two Puma™ tractors, two Farmall® tractors, a Patriot® self-propelled sprayer, as well as two CASE TX telehandlers.
The fleet has been fitted with the highest level of Case IH AFS® (Advanced Farming Systems) and telematics, with Case IH’s precision farming experts working closely with the team at AgroDairy.
AgroDairy is pleased with their Case IH machinery, as well as the ongoing technical support and training provided by the brand.
During his visit to AgroDairy, President Aliyev commented that the company has the highest productivity in Azerbaijan today, and should showcase their modern farming techniques to the farmers of Azerbaijan to help them bring the entire country’s agricultural practices up to the standards being set by AgroDairy.
