Connectivity and Support

AFS Connect™

The AFS Connect™ portal is a gateway to the Magnum™ AFS Connect™ series tractor. It allows you to precisely manage your farm, fleet and data from a desktop or tablet anywhere. Log in to AFS Connect™ to:

• View current field operations, fleet information, agronomic data and more

• Share selected agronomic data — down to the field level — with third-party partners of your choosing

• Confirm that your data is securely transferring to and from the cloud
Remote capabilities

Added connectivity helps to maximize uptime and keep operators in the field via support features available in the Magnum™ AFS Connect™:

• Remote display viewing allows a farm manager or dealer to view exactly what an operator is seeing on the AFS Pro 1200 display in the cab.

• Remote service tool allows dealers to remotely identify maintenance and service needs, to proactively determine what parts are needed, without ever needing to visit the operation.

• Firmware over the air (FOTA) allows dealers to push wireless updates to operating firmware.
System components

Three new system components enable you to configure precision farming functionality and tractor systems the way you want:

• AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen monitor: Designed for intuitive navigation, our newest monitor features anti-glare for visibility on even the brightest days. Remote monitor viewing connects operators with farm managers or dealer technicians seamlessly, and Bluetooth^® capabilities pair the display with a mobile phone.

• New AFS Vision Pro operating system is familiar and easy to use. Producers can configure their AFS Vision Pro operating system to their choosing, using technology to tailor the tractor to their operating preferences.

• AFS Vector Pro receiver streamlines guidance correction options, ranging from base (WAAS and AFS 1) to medium (AFS 2) to high (RTK and AFS RTK+) accuracy levels.

A cab environment above the rest

A clean-sheet approach was used to completely redesign the automotive-grade cab of the Magnum™ AFS Connect™ tractor to meet customer needs.

Multicontroller armrest

The newly designed Multicontroller armrest has eight free configurable control buttons, a Multicontroller handle with four programmable buttons for remote valves and ISOBUS, "Hotkey" button for quick access to settings screen and an encoder knob for total control at the operator’s fingertips. Industry exclusive illuminated, colour coded, configurable remote valve levers for clear and intuitive operation.
Operator comfort

New styling and high-quality material provide a luxury look and feel, while enhanced heating and air conditioning deliver operator comfort year-round.
Storage and visibility

Plenty of storage compartments, multiple cup holders and numerous charging and data ports add to the operator experience, and a telescoping and tilting steering wheel and full-glass door with no center pillar improve visibility.
Surveyor cab

An optional advanced hydraulic semi-active cab suspension in a Case IH Magnum Surveyor cab stabilizes front-to-back and up-and-down motions. It gives you a smoother ride whether on the road or in uneven terrain, reducing fatigue and increasing productivity.

Backlit buttons

Switching between functions is even simpler with the new Magnum™ AFS Connect™ control center. Different-sized buttons allow for a softer touch and enable you to tell them apart by touch alone.
Visibility

With 6.3 m² of glass in the cab, Magnum™ AFS Connect™ tractors give you an exclusive 360-degree full field of vision, including an unobstructed view of the hitch. The Magnum’s sloped hood optimizes forward visibility.
Lights

When circumstances require you to work in darkness, visibility won’t be an issue -- even to the outside row units of your largest planter. Magnum’s LED and HID lights make it easy to get out and make an adjustment, fuel up or do whatever you need to regardless of the time of day.
Heated and ventilated seat

Magnum’s optional heated and ventilated red leather seat keeps you cool and comfortable in warm months. The heated function relaxes tired muscles and keeps you warm when temperatures drop. The operator will enjoy an industry leading seat swivel of 40° for an unobstructed view to the rear implement.

With the Hi-eSCR2 technology Case IH is committed to an unmatched overall fluid efficiency and power. The patented SCR-on-Filter technology eliminates the need for additional components such as CEGR. You can enjoy low maintenance costs since the system allows for 600 hours between oil changes.

Industry leading CVXDrive transmission delivers uninterrupted power to the ground, incorporating three ranges to be more efficient and deliver more power for tough jobs. Plus, with ActiveStop, the engine holds the tractor in place, letting you more easily start and stop on inclines without using the clutch or brake.

Simple Operation

Go from zero to 40 or 50 km/h simply by moving a lever. CVXDrive automatically selects the best transmission range for the desired speed or load, eliminating the need for clutching and shifting.

Maximum Fuel Efficiency

CVXDrive automatically chooses the most fuel efficient combination of engine speed and drivetrain selection to save fuel and reduce costs.

Ultra-Smooth Shifting & Power Transfer

Proven 18-, 19- and 21-speed PowerDrive powershift transmission provides ultra-smooth shifting and power transfer for maximum productivity.

Fuel Saving

The Automatic Productivity Management (APM) allows maximum fuel efficiency by managing the engine RPM and transmission speed. You set the speed, rpm and shift frequency, and your transmission does the rest, so the job gets done faster and at the lowest possible cost.

Hydraulic & Hitches

Remote valves and hitch options for all your row crop applications

Strong, versatile hydraulics

Hydraulic flow can be configured to handle most any row-crop application and takes care of loader work too. Magnum tractors provide up to 282 l/min hydraulic flow so you can run at lower engine rpm for increased fuel efficiency without compromising operational performance. Choose between 4, 5 or 6 remote valves to match your machine requirement.
Hitches to handle more implements

Front Hitch: Available as factory-installed options on the 280–400 models giving you the ability to handle more 3-point implement applications.The front PTO adds to the versatility of this option.

Rear Hitch: Category 4N/3 or 3N/3 hitch depending on model with a lift capacity up to 11,700 kg.

Axles Built for a Better Ride

Keeping all your tires on the ground is crucial for stability and performance. The Magnum’s front-axle suspension ensures that tires stay perpendicular to the ground for stability, traction and control over rough terrain. And that means a better ride at higher speeds. The design keeps you comfortable in the cab and solid Case IH design minimizes the number of moving parts, which means lower cost of operation.
Iron Matched to the Power

Rear axles are sized to match the horsepower to provide smooth and efficient power transfer. The Magnum™ 380 and 400 AFS Connect™ tractor comes with a 12.7 cm diameter rear axle to handle the heaviest loads through the toughest field conditions, providing the durability and longevity expected from a Magnum™ AFS Connect™ tractor.
Fully integrated rear tracks

The Magnum™ AFS Connect™ Rowtrac changed the industry with fully integrated rear tracks into the tractor design. This rear track oscillates and pivots to maintain a flat footprint that keeps the power on the ground. This design produces traction that is unaffected by hitch or drawbar load, plus improved ride over uneven terrrain.
