LUGANO, Switzerland - (April 30, 2013) - The Case IH Puma 155 is a powerful, efficient and maneuverable tractor. Versatile and easy to use, it provides plenty of power for primary tillage, cultivation, planting and transport. This work horse is equally well suited for row-crop and livestock applications.
Proven performance
The Case IH Puma 155 features a proven, responsive six-cylinder, 6.7 liter FPT Industrial engine that provides an excellent weight to horsepower ratio for economical operation. The common-rail, high-pressure fuel injection engine delivers up to 168 maximum horsepower, while the Power Management system adds automatically and progressively up to 25 extra horsepower when needed for transport, PTO and hydraulic remote valve operations. With Power Management the operator can move through tough crop conditions or steep grades without losing speed or productivity. This highly efficient engine delivers exceptional fuel efficiency while putting power to the ground.
Choice of transmissions adds up to productivity and versatility
The Puma 155 is available with a 6-step Semi Powershift ideal for tillage, specialized tasks and transport or an exclusive 18x6 Full Powershift that delivers the right amount of power for primary tillage and comfortable operation when baling, seeding, spraying and transporting. A standard Auto-Shift™ setting for field and transport provides automatic shifting based on the load, for increased productivity and fuel savings.
High-Flow hydraulics
The load-sensing hydraulic pump delivers the power and control needed to operate today’s implements and remote hydraulic motors for efficiency, reduced wear and fuel economy. This high-capacity system results in highly responsive controls and delivers the flexibility to handle several functions simultaneously without sacrificing performance.
With a hitch-lift capacity of up to 10,460 kg, an easy to operate and very effective fender-mounted raise/lower switch and a hitch dampening system, Puma tractors are designed to handle the heavy three-point loads generated by larger implements and allow precise adjustments in the field. The hydraulic system is powered by a variable displacement piston pump delivering up to 150 litres per minute on full powershift tractors. The Puma has been engineered for maximum adaptability to the requirements of today’s front loaders.
Spacious Surround Vision™ Cab
Like others in the Case IH family, the Puma’s high visibility SurroundVision Cab combines unparalleled panoramic views with ergonomic controls for higher comfort and productivity. The clear and easy to read instrumentation means that all the basic functions can be seen at a glance, for comfortable operation.
Easy to service
The engine in Puma tractors has an industry-leading 600-hour service interval to save maintenance time and investment. The large front toolbox, flip-up hood, centralized service points, swing-out radiator oil cooler: everything in the Puma 155 is designed to make maintenance quick and efficient to maximize uptime.
