The 34th AGROmashEXPO took place in Budapest from January 27-30; the event showcases machinery from international and Hungarian brands and this year’s show welcomed over 45,000 visitors, a record attendance.
Awards were given to recognise the most advanced and efficient innovations in the tractor segment of the market; more than 70 applications were received, from which 45 progressed to the final. The committee evaluated entrants in terms of modernity and innovation, design, efficiency, productivity and applications.
The Case IH Optum CVX was honoured for its outstanding combination of efficient power and compact structure, receiving the Special Innovation Award. There has been huge interest from farmers since the launch of the Optum CVX, thanks to its innovative and modern styling and power levels in excess of 300 hp.
The award was presented at the Opening Ceremony on January 27th by Sándor Fazekas from the Ministry of Agriculture and Gábor Ganczer, the Vice President of Hungexpo, to Gábor Grósz, Director of Sales at Case IH dealer Agro-Békés Ltd. This prestigious prize was given pride of place, alongside the Optum CVX, on the Agro- Békés stand.
“We at Case IH are delighted that the Optum CVX has been recognised with this award“, says Jens Lommatzsch, Eastern Europe Business Manager. “It demonstrates that our engineers are aware of the challenges, trends and developments in agricultural engineering and that our machines meet farmers‘ demands in Hungary and around the world“.
