Case IH gets behind potato farming's highlight event

12 Sep 2018

As an exclusive technology partner, Case IH is a key supporter of PotatoEurope 2018. From 20 to 26 April 2018, an Optum CVX 300 tractor with a Grimme potato planter, and a Farmlift 742 telescopic handler were demonstrated on the trial fields at Rittergut Bockerode near Springe. At the event itself, the manufacturer will provide a complete fleet of tractors and telescopic load-ers to help the machine demonstrations go with a swing, and to perform any other jobs needed during the event.

Versatile fleet
A diverse range of other Case IH tractors will also be put through their paces during Pota-toEurope on 12 and 13 September. These include Puma and Puma CVX, Maxxum, Luxxum and Farmall 95 C.

Three telescopic loaders Farmlift 735, Farmlift 742 and Farmlift 935 will join the action. All ma-chines will be in action at Rittergut Bockerode by 4 September. “We are obviously very pleased to be exclusively and actively supporting the European potato event in this way, while demon-strating the performance capabilities of our machines to the European potato industry at large,” says Stefan Bogner, Managing Director of Case IH Germany.

Weather data at a glance
Since April, a Case IH weather station has also been installed at Rittergut Bockerode. The measurements have been made available to interested parties, who can build up their own pic-ture of the current weather data. The accompanying app is available in the App Store for An-droid as well as IOS. At present, the data can be accessed by user name Caseihpota-toeurope@appsforagri.com and password caseih123.
