Cart Automation

Cart Automation makes it easier for any operator to run an unload on-the-go operation effectively. Automatically synchronize the cart’s direction and speed with the combine to ensure a smooth harvest operation between the combine and grain cart, without stressful communication. Make harvest unload as productive and profitable as possible by reducing grain spillage and slowdowns.

Cart Automation

Simplify Harvest Operation with Trustworthy Automation

Instead of putting pressure on grain cart operators to run spill- and accident-free, trust Cart Automation to ensure the combine and grain cart drive in parallel on straight swaths while the combine is unloading. By syncing guidance and propulsion, the cart automation solution saves time and money by reducing grain spills, increasing productivity and relieving operator stress.

Explore Features

  • Automatically Drive the Same Speed and Direction as the Combine

Cart Automation makes it easier for any operator at any skill level to be effective by matching the cart’s heading and speed with the combine. When the grain cart driver is in range [within a 175m long by 55m wide window] of the harvester, they can sync the cart’s direction and speed with the combine’s auger on straight swaths simply by pressing a few buttons.
  • Give Operators Confidence when it's Go Time

Cart Automation is easy for new operators to learn and use: all they need to do is drive the grain cart in range, then engage the propulsion and steering sync. The tractor automatically lines up with the combine unloading auger, so the combine operator does not need to constantly direct traffic. Then, the operator simply steers to disengage Cart Automation and drives to the unload point.

Cart Automation is proven to reduce stressful events for both tractor operators (average 18%) and combine operators (average 12%) across all crops and conditions tested*, compared to manual operation.

Streamline communication, reduce operator training time, and keep your harvest operation running in sync with Cart Automation.

*Based on internal validation testing. Stressful events were measured using heart rate metrics.

  • Sync up to Six Grain Cart and Combine Systems

In manual operations, more machines in a harvest unload process add more complex maneuvering and communication. With Cart Automation, focus on gaining efficiency in multi-machine operations by syncing up to six machine pairs. Then, all you need to know is which machine is coming next. All navigation and synchronization is taken care of by the Cart Automation system.
  • Control Cart Position for an Even Fill

When the cart is synced with the combine, the combine operator can use a customizable joystick and button control to adjust the bin’s position for a more even fill, further reducing grain spillage and streamlining communication between cabs. No need to speed up or slow down to get an even fill.
  • Parallel Sync Every Time with Radio Signal

Cart Automation uses a radio-based signal to connect the cart and combine, keeping a stable link even when a cellular signal is spotty.
