Case IH and Gaalooge Showcase Agricultural Mechanization at the EU–Somalia Business Forum 2026

Case IH tractors, genuine parts and aftersales solutions took center stage as Gaalooge engaged with senior government representatives, investors and international stakeholders in Mogadishu.

Mogadiscio, Somalia – Case IH and its distributor Gaalooge Agro-Business Enterprise strengthened their commitment to the development of agricultural mechanization in Somalia through Gaalooge’s participation in the EU–Somalia Business Forum 2026, held in Mogadishu on 5–6 October 2026 under the theme “Invest in Somalia: Unlocking High-Potential Markets.”

The two-day Forum brought together Somali and European businesses, investors, government institutions, financial institutions and development partners to explore investment opportunities, strengthen commercial partnerships and support private-sector development in Somalia.

Gaalooge participated with a dedicated exhibition showcasing Case IH tractors and agricultural machinery, Case IH Genuine Parts and filters, agricultural implements, spare-parts supply, technical support, maintenance and aftersales services. The exhibition highlighted how access to modern equipment, combined with reliable technical assistance and genuine parts, can support agricultural productivity and the long-term development of mechanization in Somalia.

The Gaalooge exhibition also received visits from senior representatives of the Federal Government of Somalia. On the first day, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, and other federal ministers visited the booth. On the second day, the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia visited the exhibition, providing an opportunity for the Gaalooge team to present its agricultural machinery, Case IH partnership, genuine spare parts and aftersales capabilities.

Gaalooge also contributed directly to the Forum’s discussions on the future of agribusiness. Hussein Nur Hassan, Operations Manager at Gaalooge Agro- Business Enterprise, represented the company during the panel “Agribusiness Opportunities under the Global Gateway.” The discussion explored opportunities in agriculture, livestock and agro-processing, as well as the infrastructure, financing, quality standards and market access needed to develop stronger value chains connecting Somali producers with regional and international markets.

The Forum also created new networking and potential partnership opportunities with business partners, investors, government representatives, financial institutions and development organizations, in areas including agricultural machinery investment, equipment financing and leasing, technology partnerships, spare-parts distribution, mechanization services and skills development.

Through their partnership, Case IH and Gaalooge are helping expand access to modern agricultural machinery, genuine spare parts, technical knowledge and aftersales services for farmers and agricultural enterprises in Somalia. The partnership also supports technology transfer and the development of local technical capacity, key elements in building a more productive and commercially oriented agricultural sector.
