The Cost Of A Filter Goes Beyond Its Price

The Cost Of A Filter Goes Beyond Its Price

A filter’s purpose is to extend the life of your equipment by protecting it from harmful contaminants. Lower-quality filters may save you at the counter, but their inferior protection can be costly in the long run.
Your filter is the first line of defence against impurities. Those impurities can affect engine performance and even lead to engine failure.

VARIETIES OF IMPURITIES AND WHERE THEY MAY COME FROM:

  • Moisture impurities may be poured into the tank from storage tanks and reservoirs. They may also arise from condensation within reservoirs.
  • Microbial growth impurities may be poured into the tank from storage tanks and reservoirs, and from biodiesel.
  • Solids, or small particle impurities may be poured into the tank from storage tanks and reservoirs, which can develop as combustion residue. This is created from the oxidation of fluids during engine combustion or can be developed by consuming air and airborne particles from the external environment. It can also result from the build up from machine wear and tear, and from associated production line residue

Small Particles, Big Differences

Small Particles, Big Differences

Case IH filters have been engineered to stop and hold a range of impurities, therefore reducing performance issues and increasing your service intervals. Case IH filters are the only filters designed for your machine, by the professionals who know your machine. Their advanced design and durable construction is rigorously tested to ensure the best heavy-duty protection for your equipment.

THE CASE IH HEAVY DUTY DIFFERENCE:

Superior Media: Synthetic, multi-layer, gradient-density media outperforms competitive cellulose and paper media two-to-one.

Hot Melt: This high-quality adhesive keeps filter media from bunching and rupturing under the intense pressure common with off-road equipment.

Heavy-Duty Retainer: Unlike the spacers in “will-fit” filters, a leak-stopping spring resists vibrations to keep filter elements in place.

Metal End Caps and Centre Tubes: The cardboard components in competitive manufacturers' filters are susceptible to breakdown from moisture. Metal components offer greater durability.

Rubber Seals: Unlike cardboard seals that can deteriorate and leak, our rubber seals provide a tight, even seal that prevents unfiltered oil from re-entering your system.

Rugged Construction: Case IH filters are routinely tested to meet rigorous quality standards.

  • CABIN AIR FILTERS

    CABIN AIR FILTERS

The contributing reasons for the installation of a Cabin on your machine is for driver comfort and your health and safety. Cabins are designed to keep external contaminants out and provide a healthy breathing space for you within. Filters should be changed routinely to work effectively. The Cabin Air Filter is your first line of defence against contaminants entering the Cabin. A Cabin Air Filter can absorb odours and harmful fumes while capturing dust, pollen and other allergens. Plus they are easy to install and remove, with no modification or mess to existing housing since carbon is bonded to the filter media.

  • ENGINE AIR FILTERS

    ENGINE AIR FILTERS

Did you know a typical diesel engine requires more than 30 Kilolitres of clean air for every four litres of fuel it burns? The better your engine breathes, the better it works. For optimum performance and engine protection, use only Case IH engine air filters.

  • HYDRAULIC FILTERS

    HYDRAULIC FILTERS

As one of the first manufacturers to use high-performance synthetic media in hydraulic and transmission filters, we continue to deliver the optimum balance of efficiency and capacity with Case IH original hydraulic filters.

  • FUEL FILTERS

    FUEL FILTERS

Few things will impact your productivity faster than a low-quality fuel filter. With the extremely high injection pressures and tight tolerances of today's low-emissions engines, it doesn't take much dirt to clog a fuel system and stall an engine. Choose the best possible protection-fuel filters from your local Case IH dealer.
