Case IH RB Balers: Smart design. Solid bales. Every field, every time

Case IH RB6 series brings the power, the precision and the reliability your operation demands. With two models from 90-150 to 90-180 cm and 3 different feeding systems allowing to handle any crop, from dry hay to silage in the toughest conditions. The Case IH RB456 and RB466 deliver a high performance, top-quality bales and innovative technology. This is what Case IH balers are all about!

Explore the series

  • Quick to hitch. Built to bale

When the crop is ready, hooking on the baler must be fast and simple. Therefore, Case IH RB6 series variable chamber round baler come with a slick A-frame design drawbar with integrated jackstand makes hitching very easy. The narrow A-frame drawbar which can be adjusted to match an tractor configuration and hitch, allows tight manoeuvring on headlands and small fields while providing maximum visibility on the pick-up. Connect the color coded hydraulic hoses and electric connections and you are ready to roll.

  • Tough driveline. Tighter bales

Case IH RB6 Series are powered by a simple but robust driveline. Starting from a wide-angle PTO shaft allowing those tight headland turns to a gearbox which is offered at 540 or 1000 rpm PTO speed. Handling those tougher conditions and meeting the increasing demands that are put on our balers, the Case IH RB6 Series now comes with premium chains on Rotor Feeder and Rottor Cutter versions. The clean and simple drive chain on the left-hand side is easily accessible through the large door panels for maintenance which is automatically lubricated by the optional installed chain oiler. A clutch installed on the PTO shaft provides maximum safety against overload and easy restart when the blockage is cleared.

  • Picking up every last bit

Case IH RB6 Series offers two pick-ups depending on the feeding system you choose. The 4-bar unit on the Overshot Feeder model suits mostly farms that are baling light hay and straw. Whereas the Rotor Feeder and Rotor Cutter models feature a heavy-duty 5-bar solid tine pick-up to suit users who are baling more heavier crops like grass silage or work more uneven grounds. The 2,00 m wide, 4-bar pickup is standard equipped with heavy duty spring steel tines providing a clean sweep in the field. The 2,30 m wide 5-bar pickup comes with rubber mounted spring tines. The solid rubber spring tines are 10% stiffer than conventional tines and can last up to five times longer and can withstand tougher conditions like silage or cornstalks.

Both pickups come with a roller windguard, combined with augers on both sides ensuring an even crop flow towards the intake even in heavy or inconsistent swaths. An additional top assist roll is available on all rotor models.

Driven by a double-cammed reel, Case IH RB6 Series pickups are designed to create an unmatched cropflow into the baler, helping you to increase your baling speed, reducing plugging and improving your overall productivity.

The easy adjustement of the pick-up height ensures simple adaptations to different swath densities.

Suspended pick-up wheels, fixed or castering with simple adjustment enable you to pick-up every bit of crop while minimizing the impact on the field.

  • Smooth intake. Solid results.

All RB6 series models offer 3 different feeding systems matching your individual needs and crop conditions.

  • Built for strength and consistency

The RB6 Series bale chamber is engineered for durability and performance in the toughest conditions.

Triple lip seal bearings keep dust out and grease in for smooth, low-maintenance operation while premium-grade Tsubaki chains deliver exceptional tensile strength.

Endless vulcanized belts hold their shape under pressure, ensuring consistent density without slipping or weak points. Automatic belt tensioning with hydraulic control maintains uniform bale cores and our seamless extruded rolls—built without welds or joints—provide unmatched strength and extended roll life.

Our in-cab density control allows you to fine-tune bale density without leaving your seat. Standard integrated left and right sensors continuously monitor belt tension, while real-time bar graph indicators on the display guide your driving path for even chamber filling. The result is perfectly shaped, uniform bales with less effort and more efficiency.

  • Wrap it your way

The RB6 Series offers complete flexibility with your choice of twine or net wrapping, both managed automatically from the in-cab monitor.

Twine wrapping uses dual telescopic arms ensuring fast coverage, adding extra end wraps for greater bale stability. From the cab, operators can easily adjust twine speed, quantity and wrapping modes, with independent left and right settings for precise results every time.

For net wrapping, the dust-protected system with triple rollers ensures smooth starts, consistent spread and minimal maintenance. The exclusive Duckbill system presses the material firmly against the bale, delivering clean, reliable wraps every time.

  • 12" display at your fingertips
Every RB6 model is fully ISOBUS-compatible, working seamlessly with any ISOBUS display featuring a dedicated screen. For tractors without one, operators can choose the Pro 700 Plus or Pro 1200 display for complete control from the cab. The high-brightness 12"" monitor ensures clear visibility in all light conditions while allowing you to set bale size, density and net wraps, as well as save custom settings.
Advanced data management features include total and job-specific bale counts, last bale moisture, average moisture and ISO-XML format for easy record keeping—keeping precision and efficiency always within reach.

    Tractor-baler Automation
The RB6 series simplifies the baling process through full automation, reducing operator fatigue and improving overall efficiency.
From bale formation to restart, every step is handled with precision so you can stay focused and productive, even on long days. A built-in baler presence switch ensures each bale is fully ejected before the next cycle begins, preventing errors and keeping the workflow seamless.
