From front to back, nothing was left untouched. Case IH engineers took a deep dive into every part of the LB Series balers—from the pickup and rotor to the pre-chamber, packer, and knotters—to unlock new levels of performance.
The result? A full range covering bale dimensions from 80x70 cm to 120x90 cm, designed to handle every need from medium to high-capacity operations. Precision-engineered, field-proven, and built to deliver more output, tighter bales, and greater uptime—this is baling redefined

Explore the series

  • The LB424 XL and LB434 XL models feature a wider chassis than their predecessors (80x70 & 80x90; 120x70 & 120x90)—increased from 2500 mm to 2800 mm—creating more space between the side frame and the twine box. This expanded width reduces crop buildup in that area and gives operators easier access for maintenance and movement around the service platform.

Despite the larger frame, all LB4 XL balers remain under 3 meters transport width, even with pickup wheels installed—ensuring full road transport compliance and easy maneuverability.

To support around-the-clock work, these models offer an optional high-visibility LED work and service light package. Designed for late-night baling and early-morning servicing, these modern, energy-efficient lights ensure you never miss a detail—no matter the hour.

  • Choose between regular Drawbar hitch or up to the play-free K80 ball hitch. whatever you chose the hitch design of the Case IH LB XL Series balers is built for durability, flexibility, and quick connection to a wide range of tractors, making it easy to get in the field and get to work.

  • The driveline system on the LB XL balers is engineered for maximum power transfer, low maintenance, and long-term durability—all critical for high-output baling in demanding conditions.

  • Everything on the Case IH LB Series Pickup is engineered to make sure that no cop is left behind and to provide an unmatched smooth crop flow to either the packer or rotor. A smooth and consistent crop flow contributes to a higher productivity and performance, a uniform bale consistency and reduces the chances of blockage.

  • The Case IH LBXL Series Intake System blends brute strength with intelligent engineering—delivering faster feeding, smoother flow, and consistent bale quality across every field. It's built for the demands of modern baling operations, where capacity, reliability, and efficiency are non-negotiable.

  • All Case IH Large square balers are equipped with a long, wear-resistant bale chamber which provides a more stable bale shape and higher bale density.

  • The advanced and patented TwinePro® knotter system works seamlessly with redesigned needles and needle yoke reclaim system to deliver next-level baling performance. It forms a high-strength loop knot using a simple, reliable mechanism—enabling operators to run at maximum bale density with a wide range of twines, without the worry of bale breakage.

  • The Case IH LBXL Series large square balers (e.g., LB334XL, LB434XL, LB436HD) are fully ISOBUS-compatible, delivering seamless communication between tractor and baler for smarter operation, increased efficiency, and simplified control.

  • The Case IH LBXL Series includes advanced automation systems designed to take the guesswork out of baling. From intake to tying, these balers use smart sensors and ISOBUS technology to improve efficiency, bale quality, and ease of operation—even in challenging crop conditions.

  • For maximum road safety Case IH big balers feature suspension systems for excellent handling. On and off the road they offer a wide choice of tyres to match your working conditions. There is a choice of either a single axle or tandem axle, with steered rear axle.
The large tyres in combination with the steered tandem axle reduce soil pressure and protect the regrowth of the next crop. In spite of their higher performance and capacity, new LB series balers feature a very compact construction, and even on 600mm-wide tyres they are less than 3m wide. Transport speeds of up to 60kph are possible on the road, depending on local regulations.

  • Case IH LB balers have been designed to give trouble free operation for many seasons and to require the minimum of service and maintainance. Direct access to all major components is provided by the high-opening panels that lift upwards supported by gas assisted cylinders. Storage compartments with the ability to store up to 32 twine balls are enough for a days high capacity baling.
