Connectivity and Support

AFS Connect™
The AFS Connect portal is a gateway to the Optum AFS Connect series tractor. It allows you to precisely manage your farm, fleet and data from a desktop or tablet anywhere. Log in to AFS Connect to:
- View current field operations, fleet information, agronomic data and more.
- Share selected agronomic data — down to the field level — with third-party partners of your choosing.
- Confirm that your data is securely transferring to and from the cloud.

Remote capabilities
Added connectivity helps to maximize uptime and keep operators in the field via support features available in the Optum AFS Connect:
- Remote display viewing allows a farm manager or dealer to view exactly what an operator is seeing on the AFS Pro 1200 display in the cab.
- Remote service tool allows dealers to remotely identify maintenance and service needs, to proactively determine what parts are needed, without ever needing to visit the operation.
- Firmware over the air (FOTA) allows dealers to push wireless updates to operating firmware.

System components
Three new system components enable you to configure precision farming functionality and tractor systems the way you want:
- AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen monitor: Designed for intuitive navigation, our newest monitor features anti-glare for visibility on even the brightest days. Remote monitor viewing connects operators with farm managers or dealer technicians seamlessly, and Bluetooth^® capabilities pair the display with a mobile phone.
- New AFS Vision Pro operating system is familiar and easy to use. Producers can configure their AFS Vision Pro operating system to their choosing, using technology to tailor the tractor to their operating preferences.
- AFS Vector Pro receiver streamlines guidance correction options, ranging from base (WAAS and AFS 1) to medium (AFS 2) to high (RTK and AFS RTK⁺) accuracy levels.

Operator environment

A workplace as comfort zone

Enough space to work and feel comfortable without worries: Take a seat in the large, luxurious, operator-oriented and intuitive cab of the Optum AFS Connect.

Multicontroller armrest

The new designed Multicontroller armrest has eight free configurable control buttons, a Multicontroller handle with four programmable buttons for remote valves and ISOBUS, "Hotkey" button for quick access to settings screen and an encoder knob for total control at the operator’s fingertips. Industry exclusive illuminated, colour coded, configurable remote valve levers for clear and intuitive operation.
Operator comfort

New styling and high-quality material provide a luxury look and feel, while enhanced heating and air conditioning deliver operator comfort year-round.
Storage and visibility

Plenty of storage compartments, multiple cup holders and numerous charging and data ports add to the operator experience, and a telescoping and tilting steering wheel and full-glass door with no center pillar improve visibility.

A-pillar Display

The newly-designed colour display mounted on the A-pillar shows the driver an overview of the most important data regarding the fuel tank, AdBlue fill level, coolant temperature, transmission, rear hitch, PTO speed and ground speed.
Keyless-Entry

Case IH has developed a more complete solution for access management and control, the Immobilizer Key Fob. The idea was to combine anti-theft with a more convenient use and operator safety plus managing fleet access in the daily business.
Heated and ventilated seat

Optum's optional heated and ventilated red leather seat keeps you cool and comfortable in warm months. The heated function relaxes tired muscles and keeps you warm when temperatures drop. The operator will enjoy an industry leading seat swivel of 40° for an unobstructed view to the rear implement.

Intuitive identifiable backlit buttons

Switching between functions is even simpler with the new Optum AFS Connect control centre. Different-sized buttons allow for a softer touch and enable you to tell them apart by touch alone.
Settings just for you

The AFS Pro 1200 monitor gives you an overview of all tractor functions. It’s easy to optimise the hydraulics, PTO, engine and transmission. Just use the Case IH encoder and shortcut keys for total control of your tractor’s functions.
Lights

When circumstances require you to work in darkness, visibility won’t be an issue - even to the outside of your largest implement. Optum's LED lights make it easy to get out and make an adjustment, fuel up or do whatever you need to regardless of the time of day.

Driven by Innovation

Optum AFS Connect tractors are built around the latest generation Stage V-compliant FPT engines, forming the heart of a powertrain that’s built to take high-output hard work in its stride. The latest 6 cylinder engines are also designed for longer 750 hour oil and filter change intervals.

Reliable and Durable

The 6.7 litre 4-valve engine with Common Rail high-pressure fuel injection and wastegate turbocharger delivers performance, torque, fuel efficiency and reliability between 250 and 300hp (rated). All models benefit from an innovative power management system that provides an extra power boost when transporting heavy loads or moving at higher speeds.
Powerful without Compromise

All engines can generate up to an amazing 40% torque rise. With this large reserve, torque can be increased even while engine speed drops under heavy load. With a broad constant power range of constant power, the engine can achieve its full potential even at low speeds, which improves fuel efficiency.
Exceptionally Economical

The optional engine back-pressure brake saves you money by saving your brakes, both on the tractor and on the implement. The electronic Vistronic fan has been tuned for maximum fuel efficiency, ensuring need-based cooling performance rather than cooling speed based on engine speed. The reversible Eco fan promises even greater efficiency and reliability.
Environmentally Friendly

The patented, highly efficient Selective Catalytic Reduction (Hi-eSCR2) system meets the strict requirements of Euro stage V emissions standards.
Hydro-treated vegetable oil, or HVO, is a bio-synthetic diesel that is fully compatible with the Stage V FPT engine. Combined with the extended service intervals and biodegradable transmission oil, HVO compatibility cements the Optum’s eco-credentials.

Case IH software engineers have enhanced the performance and driveability of the CVXDrive with new APM control features that deliver smoother and more responsive characteristics, increasing uptime in the field. A Tractor with Perfect Traction

Optum‘s automatic 4WD and differential lock systems can be automatically switched on and off where necessary, to combine minimal wheel slippage with maximum ground protection. The standard Ride Control system minimises pitching movements when transporting heavy mounted implements.
Patented Safety Solution

The Advanced Trailer Brake equipped on Case IH Optum AFS Connect tractors enhances safety in tricky situations. The patented system actively recognises the current driving situation and stabilises the tractor and trailer combination when decelerating either by pulling back on the Multicontroller or using the brake pedal. The tractor and trailer stay in line.
