Picking up every last bit
Case IH RB6 Series offers two pick-ups depending on the feeding system you choose. The 4-bar unit on the Overshot Feeder model suits mostly farms that are baling light hay and straw. Whereas the Rotor Feeder and Rotor Cutter models feature a heavy-duty 5-bar solid tine pick-up to suit users who are baling more heavier crops like grass silage or work more uneven grounds. The 2,00 m wide, 4-bar pickup is standard equipped with heavy duty spring steel tines providing a clean sweep in the field. The 2,30 m wide 5-bar pickup comes with rubber mounted spring tines. The solid rubber spring tines are 10% stiffer than conventional tines and can last up to five times longer and can withstand tougher conditions like silage or cornstalks.
Both pickups come with a roller windguard, combined with augers on both sides ensuring an even crop flow towards the intake even in heavy or inconsistent swaths. An additional top assist roll is available on all rotor models.
Driven by a double-cammed reel, Case IH RB6 Series pickups are designed to create an unmatched cropflow into the baler, helping you to increase your baling speed, reducing plugging and improving your overall productivity.
The easy adjustement of the pick-up height ensures simple adaptations to different swath densities.
Suspended pick-up wheels, fixed or castering with simple adjustment enable you to pick-up every bit of crop while minimizing the impact on the field.
