Plant Hire Business opts for Puma Power

10 Sep 2018

When an urgent job came in during 2016 that called for eight tractors, Campbell Duncan from New Cumnock, Ayrshire had to move quickly. As well as buying four machines at auction which he could sell on after the job finished, he bought another four from his local Case IH dealership, Ramsay & Jackson – four Puma 200s which are still going strong today.

Campbell Duncan owns Duncan Plant Hire - a business that operates 54 excavators (ranging from 1.5 to 30 tonnes) as well as eight tractors, covering the whole of Scotland. He also runs 8 lorries which work across the UK and employs some 70 staff. Most of Campbell’s work is associated with the construction sector or the local open cast mines but he also carries out some agricultural work.
