Cotton Express Event Strengthens Dialogue Across Benin’s Cotton Value Chain

Benin – On 3 December 2025, the Cotton Express 220 was officially launched in Benin, bringing together key stakeholders from across the cotton value chain for a dedicated moment of exchange, discussion and field engagement.

The event was organized through a joint effort between Case IH team and Sonama, the official distributor in Benin, with the aim of encouraging dialogue around cotton production, mechanization needs and future development opportunities.

As one of Africa’s leading cotton-producing countries, Benin plays a strategic role in the regional agricultural landscape. The Cotton Express launch provided a valuable platform to engage directly with farmers, technicians, local partners and institutions, offering the opportunity to observe field practices, discuss operational challenges and explore practical solutions to support productivity and efficiency throughout the cotton cycle.

The initiative focused on understanding local needs and promoting knowledge sharing, highlighting the importance of collaboration in addressing the evolving demands of cotton farming. Through field-based discussions and interactions, participants exchanged insights on best practices, mechanization trends and approaches to support sustainable cotton production.
