AFS Data Sharing Adds Service Providers
After listening to producers who indicated they want to seamlessly and securely transfer agronomic data between their machines and their trusted advisers, Case IH delivered.
Case IH collaborated with several cloud-based agronomic decision-making software companies to ensure producers were equipped with data transfer capabilities between the Case IH AFS Connect farm management system and trusted service providers. Simply put, this means users can make the most of their agronomic data and drive daily management decisions — leading to better insights and increased yield potential.
How It Works
Offered through AFS Connect data sharing, the collaboration allows producers to wirelessly transfer two-way data between the Case IH AFS Connect farm management system and third-party service providers. Sharing of agronomic data can be done from a user’s management portal directly to and from these third-party service providers.
Depending on the options offered by the provider, producers may elect to share yield data, guidance lines and much more from any computer or tablet connected to the internet. In return, trusted advisers and service providers can send planting, seeding and fertilizer prescriptions tailored specifically to your data and operation.
Current third-party service providers include AgDNA, AgReliant Advantage Acre®, AgStudio® software from MapShots, AgWorks, Encirca® services from DuPont Pioneer, FieldReveal, GROWMARK, I.F.A.R.M., My Farm Manager™ web platform from Decisive Farming, Onsite technologies from AgIntegrated, Trimble and most recently FieldView™ from The Climate Corporation.
